ok, so the lovely ladies are finished! I have 2 Betty Boop Bag Blings, a Marilyn Monroe Bag Bling and a Bollywood Bag Bling which is the biggest I’ve made so far! Hooray! These were alot of fun to do and I think the next lot I do might have some pics from Twilight? Whatchya think? I love how these turned out…they will be up on the site for sale by the weekend but I was too impatient to keep the pics to myself! I’ve posted two pics of each to show you what they look like when they dangle…ok so the pics aren’t fantstic, they were taken in my backyard and the sun didn’t wanna play nice today…if you want to see more of my bag blings please click here!
Hi all, just wanted to show off my new creations created in my new space at my new house! I think they turned out awesome…not sure what they will become yet or if I’ll just leave them as they are…maybe pendants…maybe not…maybe just beads?
FINALLY, we have moved…I had forgotten how awful moving really is….the packing, then the moving, then the unpacking then lastly the “finding-a-place-for-everything” …so anyways the house is 99% set up and my work area is now complete! Last Monday was my first day back at the torch in a long long time, seems like forever…although I think sometimes when I have a break I find that my work is better and my mind more creative….so there are beads appearing again which is nice….I have also made some goddess pendants and I’ve made 2 Betty Boop bag blings – I made these ages ago but then the move got in the way and well….you get the idea huh? So their photos will be done hopefully sometime this week…they will appear first on my facebook page…so come and be my friend on facebook! Oh and if anyone knows where I can get some decoupage paper that isn’t awful please let me know LOL…I know it’s probably not all the rage like it used to be but the paper is great to work with (and no, I don’t do decoupage, I use it in other creative ways )….so if anyone knows of anything……….
Hi everyone, I just wanted to let u know that we are moving and things are chaotic…I also wanted to apologise to a few of you that have sent me emails in the last 2 weeks – I’ve had my head literally in boxes and packing tape…I have replied to you all and I hope you’ll forgive my lateness! Won’t happen again!! Promise!
This is what I woke up to this morning – Farrah Fawcett dead at 62! Michael Jackson dies suddenly! Jeff Goldblum Plunges to His Death in New Zealand! WTF? I had mixed feelings when I saw all this…my brain was half asleep, I could not comprehend what I was hearing and reading…I knew like everyone else that Farrah was going to die, then the Michael Jackson news was unbelievable…I was shocked probably like most, then I felt sad for his kids cos their lives are about to become even weirder, then the shock faded and then, well then I wanted all the sordid details! I blasted the media whores for broadcasting it all day but I watched the news hoping to catch a glimpse of…well I dunno, something!
It will be interesting to see what will happen with his funeral…the media must be wetting themselves! It is “sensational” news I agree…I was a huge fan when I was young and would listen to “Off the Wall” and then later “Thriller” over and over til my parent’s ears bled…but then he went down a rather “off the wall” road himself and to me he became someone else…and to be honest I didn’t like that someone else…but no matter what we think of him, he was still a muscial genius for both himself and other artists he’s helped along the way…I was also relieved when the Jeff Goldblum story was proven to be a hoax, phew, I like Jeff…but geez there are some sick bastards out there…why would you come up with a hoax like that…I heard it was to promote a movie he’s making at the moment…sick!…and Farrah, you fought a great fight and hopefully with all this media frenzy over Michael, your family will be able to mourn you in peace and privacy!
It’s time for us to move…the house is sold and it is time to go! Ahhh, the joys of renting! Currently we are drowning in a sea of cardboard boxes, bubble wrap, packing tape and general mess…it is not pleasant but it has to be done, so we will try to get it done as quick as we can. The most frustrating thing about it is that it slows down my progress on wanting to get new things up on the site…my days are now taken up with packing every little thing we own. This will be our 7th move in 8 years…think I’d be used to it by now huh, but nope still hate moving! 2 Betty Boop Bag Blings are completed but I’ve not photographed them as yet…they will now have to wait til the unpacking has started……….

Yep, I’m still waiting on suppliers to supply me with my supplies, til then I’m not able to finish my pieces and put them up on the site….what a pain in the bum!!!! Anyhoo, the first lot should (i say should) arrive Monday…things will hopefully be up by this time next week – no really they have to be or I’ll just give up beading altogether!!!!!!
I’ve also been pretty busy this week, our daughter turned 5 today, and the last 3 days has been taken up making cup cakes, shopping for presents and making b’day cake! I look up and suddenly it’s Thursday…

Oh look, it was raining, it was cold and it was dark all day…therefore I became a sloth this weekend…well more today than yesterday. I just couldn’t get into the zone of being a moving & thinking human being, all I wanted to do was eat naughty food and hang out on the ever-so-comfy lounge…it’s terrible stuff this slothness, you know you shouldn’t be in sloth mode but it just takes over and before you know it you’re in the middle of a lovely nanna nap!
Ok so on to the creative side of things eh! I am currently awaiting an order so I can finish off my Marilyn Monroe and Betty Boop bag blings…hopefully that will be this week, it’s taking ages and has been a real labour of love! So stay tuned and “sloth on”
Ok ok…I’ve been a bit slack, the long weekend has just passed and I didn’t do a bloody thing! I had plans of finishing some things that I’ve started but I got into sloth mode and just relaxed all weekend – imagine that!! So I’m back at it and things will be up shortly, 3 bag blings at least (maybe some glass beads)! So stay tuned!!
